Our beautiful 700 year old hotel with original turrets and wood panelled rooms evoke memories of a bygone age, yet its modern facilities make it one of Lancashire's most unique hotels. Elegantly styled suites, including the Towneley suite with its view over stunning Lancashire parkland, individual gardens as a backdrop for photographs and the Pendle suite with its large dance floor and high ceilings, together with great food this ensures the very essence of your wedding celebrations. Our executive chef offers the widest possible choices from its international cuisine and its Lancashire delicacies, using only the finest ingredients.
As part of our wedding package we offer a complimentary executive bedroom for the Bride & Groom. You may wish to upgrade to our Bridal Suite which features a four poster bed and free standing bath. Special discounted accommodation rates are available to your guests. We are also happy to extend preferential rates prior to and after your wedding day, for those guests wishing to take advantage of an extended stay.
Our Spa Naturel is the perfect Health Club and Spa experience, housing a Rock Sauna, Steam room, Ice room, indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi. There are also treatment rooms for facial, body or sensory indulgence. The ultimate aim is to leave you feeling rejuvenated and rested.

"I am the very proud mother of Becci who married Danny on September 2nd. I have been away on holiday since then, so, now that I am home, I want to thank all the staff of the Dunkenhalgh who helped to make the wedding day so memorable.
The organisation of the day was efficient and yet relaxed; and we were blessed with a warm and dry day which enabled full use of the outdoor areas. The food was delicious; many guests commented upon this. The room was attractively set and managed throughout the day.
I would especially like to mention the special contribution made by Peter, our Master of Ceremonies. He ensured that everything came together as planned, even when we were running a little late. His manner was warm and friendly, yet thoroughly professional. He was clearly committed to making sure that the day was a success.

Several of us stayed the night before the wedding ( and enjoyed a sumptuous meal in the restaurant). The next day the Ceremony took place in the Hotel where we also had the wedding breakfast with you and at night the traditional Disco and buffet. I cannot stress how pleased we were with the event as a whole and how well it was managed. You were all so well organised . The food at both the wedding breakfast and evening function was faultless as were the service staff.
