Why you should consider drone footage for your Wedding day
Perhaps until now you hadn’t thought about how your wedding will look from above? Let’s explain 4 benefits.
1. Venue of choice - There’s likely a reason as to why you chose your wedding venue. Make the most of it by capturing floating cinematic footage of the entire setting inclusive of the buildings, surrounding grounds and vistas.
2. Capture the detail - Ever taken a selfie at low level? Urgh. Drones can position themselves high to get the most incredible shots of any scene without being intrusive or getting in the way. Drones can capture the bride and groom at the front of the venue and guests having fun on the rear lawns all in one shot.
3. Entertainment – In addition to reception drinks and canapés, Drones offer free quirky entertainment while you’re having your wedding snaps. Wedding guests are genuinely intrigued by the exclusivity of drones. People really aren’t used to seeing them yet, giving something unique to watch and talk about while wondering what the posh wedding film will look like.
4. Great group shots - It’s common to see the photographer hanging from the venue window ready to shout cheese. The problem is, you can’t capture the venue and you are limited to where you can have the photograph taken. Drones allow everyone to turn around ready to include your amazing venue as a backdrop and not as a ladder.
Ready to book? For safety reasons - Drone operators must be approved by the Civil Aviation Authority. You should confirm this before booking. Good drone services will offer ground and indoor footage in keeping with the modern feel of drones and gimbals to give that truly cinematic effect.
